About

Culburnie Croft, nestled in the stunning Inverness-shire area, is a family-run venture dedicated to producing high-quality free-range Soay hogget, mutton, honey, and eggs. Since taking on the tenancy in 2018, Amy and Jimmy have embraced the legacy of Amy’s family, becoming the fourth generation to work the land. With a deep appreciation for quality food and a commitment to knowing its origins, they have maintained a close relationship with their local community by focusing on sustainable practices. Over the years, they have raised hens, sheep, bees, and pigs. Most of their meat and eggs are sold through an honesty box and local social media, reflecting their dedication to reducing food miles while nurturing traditional farming ethics. Their journey is a testament to the value of community and the joy of providing fresh, wholesome food directly to the people.
